Poetry Unit Ending

Poetry is a unique style of writing used to express feelings, like a song without music or actual singing. That's what I always viewed poetry as.
After writing three poems (with great difficulty), my feelings stay the same. My view of poetry hasn't changed. It's still unique and with many rules to make a poem good or bad that can be changed for the poem itself or its style.
It's still lovely to listen to, but hard to write. Overall, its still not my cup of tea.
I have nothing against poetry, I'd just rather read a novel than read or write another poem.
